We have painted anxiety as a bad thing but it hasn’t always been this way, in fact, it all depends on how you look at it. When we are young, we innately have these ‘Fight and Flight’ responses to loud noises or things that startle us. As we grow up, we perceive the world as a collection of experiences with which we either have a negative association or a positive one. All of this serves a specific purpose: our survival.
For instance, when we see a large animal, we automatically react to its presence with fear and anxiety which is good. Those reactions force us to respond to the threat by ‘fighting’ or ‘fighting’ to survive. Nowadays, those threats are not as prevalent and the threats we experience are mental. For example, worrying about what our peers think of us, whether we measure up to our parent's ideals of success, or whatever else it may be. But what we don’t realize - or our subconscious doesn’t realize, is that anxiety is not a helpful reaction to these examples. In fact, it holds us back from living our best life. It is the cause of stress and often the root of insomnia issues. With hypnosis, you can transform your reaction to anxiety, actually gain control over it, and start living life again!
Pain Management
According to several fibromyalgia studies, more than 75% of people with arthritis or other related chronic pain conditions experience significant pain relief using hypnosis. When we feel pain, we oftentimes experience anticipatory anxiety, which then causes us to tense up. This is not proactive to chronic pain relief and oftentimes makes matters worse. Pain management is all about shifting our subconscious reaction to the pain. Together we will work to help you find your relief from chronic pain through hypnosis.
